Up until now the 27 well-known brands were classified as \u201eGlobal Brands\u201c, Niche Brands\u201c, Multi-Local-Brands\u201c and \u201eLocal Brands\u201c. Jos\u00e9 M L\u00f3pez Inchaurbe, Development VP Habanos S.A., told Cigar Journal that these classifications have been changed to only two categories: Global Brands and \u201ePortfolio Brands\u201c. The Portfolio Brands category is split up into three segments: \u201eValue Brands\u201c, \u201eVolume Brands\u201c and \u201eOther Brands\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Here you can see the new break down on the classification according to Habanos S.A.<\/p>\n<h3>GLOBAL BRANDS (6)<\/h3>\n<p>Cohiba, H. Upmann, Hoyo de Monterrey, Montecristo, Partag\u00e1s, Romeo y Julieta<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>all of them are available in all markets where Habanos are sold<\/li>\n<li>available at all Casas del Habanos, Habanos Specialists, Habanos Point<\/li>\n<li>the focus of these brands is on innovation and new product development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>PORTFOLIO BRANDS (21)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Value Brands (4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bol\u00edvar, Punch, Ram\u00f3n Allones, Trinidad<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>available at all Casas del Habanos &amp; Habanos Specialists, except in markets with registration issues<\/li>\n<li>the focus of these brands is on value development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Volume Brands (3)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jose L.
