Fuente has just upped its support for the PCA trade show, the USA.
This afternoon, the company announced that it would release a series of rare cigars that will only be available at the show, taking place in July.
One week after four major companies announced they would not be at the PCA’s yearly premium cigar trade show, and days after Fuente chairman Carlos Fuente Jr. proclaimed his steadfast support of the event, Fuente announced that he was going to offer two sets of cigars “that have never been seen before.”
“These cigars will only be available to retailers who attend the 2020 PCA Trade Show in Las Vegas, and will only be sold in 2020 during the show,” wrote Fuente in the letter.
There will be two box sets available, each with new designs. The first will be a box set of Hemingway perfectos, each made with a rosado wrapper: An Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story Rosado, Hemingway Work of Art Rosado, Hemingway Signature Rosado and Hemingway Carlito’s Way Rosado.
The second is a box set with four sizes of extremely rare Fuente Fuente OpusX ForbiddenX cigars.
When Fuente releases cigars with rosado wrappers, they typically are made with Ecuador Sumatra leaves, and named for their reddish-brown color.
“Retailer attendance at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show helps fund the fight against FDA regulation of our industry,” wrote Fuente in the letter.
Pricing and other details will come later.
